Processing of personal data at www.toolstoswedish.com

For Tools to Swedish personal privacy is important. We strive for a high level of data protection. In this policy, we explain how we collect and use personal data. We also describe your rights and how you can enforce them.

You are always welcome to contact Tools to Swedish if you have questions about how we process your personal data. Contact details are last in this text.

What is personal data and what is a processing of personal data?

Personal data is any information about a living natural person that can be directly or indirectly linked to that person. It’s not just about names and Social Security numbers, but also about pictures and email addresses, for example.

The processing of personal data is all that happens with the personal data in the IT systems, whether it is mobile devices or computers. These include, for example, collection, registration, structuring, storage, processing and transfer. In some cases, manual tables may also be covered.

Data controller

For the processing that takes place within Tools to Swedish’s operations, 711209-4326, Atlegången 8, 235 35 Vellinge is the data controller.

What personal data do we collect about you and why?

We mainly process your name, social security number, address and contact details. We process your personal data in order to fulfil our obligations according to The General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR.

Personal data processors

In some situations it is necessary for us to engage other parties. For example, different IT providers for HR systems or electronic driving records. They are then personal data processors to us. We check personal data processors to ensure that they  guarantee  the security and confidentiality of personal data. When personal data processors are engaged, it is only for the purposes that are compatible with the purposes we ourselves have for the processing.

Operators who are independently responsible for personal data

We also share your personal data with certain other actors who are themselves responsible for personal data,  such as authorities such as the Swedish Tax Agency, when we are obliged to disclose such  information to you with a result of law or government decisions. When your personal data is shared with an actor who is an independent data controller, that organisation’s privacy policy and personal data management apply.

How long do we save your personal data?

We never save your personal data for longer than is necessary for each purpose. For example, some information in the accounts needs to be saved for at least seven years due to law.

What are your rights as a data subject?

As a data subject, you have a number of rights under applicable law. You have the right to receive an extract showing what personal data we have registered about you. You can request correction  of incorrect information and in some cases deletion.

Contact us if you have any questions about our processing of personal data.

If you have questions about how we process personal data, please contact Maja Bergqvist, who is responsible for personal data issues.

We may make changes to our privacy policy. The latest version of the privacy policy can always be found here on the website/in the staff manual.
